4. Cookies
Cookies are individual codes (e.g. a serial number) that our server or the servers of our service providers or providers transmit to your system when you connect to our website and that your system (browser, mobile) receives and stores until the programmed expiry date. With each further access, your system transmits these codes to our server or the server of the third party. This allows you to be recognised even if your identity is unknown.
We use such techniques on our website and allow certain third parties to do so as well. Depending on the purpose of these techniques, however, we will ask for your consent before they are used. You can access your current settings in your browser and program it to exchange certain cookies or delete existing cookies. You can also expand your browser with software that blocks tracking by certain third parties. You may find further information on this in the help pages of your browser. We use the following categories of cookies:
- Necessary cookies: These cookies are necessary for the functioning of the website as such or for certain functions. For example, they ensure you can switch between pages without losing the information entered in a form. They also ensure you remain logged in. These cookies only exist temporarily (session cookies). If you block them, the site may not work. Other cookies are necessary in order for the server to be able to store your decisions or inputs after a session (i.e. a visit to the website) if you use this function (e.g. language chosen, consent given, automatic login function, etc.). These cookies have an expiry date of up to 13 months. We use the following cookies in this category.
- Performance cookies: We use these cookies to optimise our website and offers and align them more closely to your needs, to record and analyse the use of our website, possibly even beyond the session. We do this by using third-party analysis services. We have listed these in section 5 below. Before we use such cookies, we ask for your consent. You can revoke this at any time via the cookie settings in your browser. We use the following cookies in this category.
- Marketing cookies: We have an interest in focusing advertising as precisely as possible on target groups, i.e. only advertising to those we want to address. For this purpose, if you consent, we also use cookies that can be used to record the content accessed or concluded contracts. This enables us to display advertising on our website, but also on other websites that display advertising from us or our advertising contractual partners. You can revoke this at any time via the cookie settings in your browser. We use the following cookies in this category.
We may also include third-party offers on our website. We currently use the services provided by the service providers listed in section 5.
5. Online tracking and online advertising techniques
We currently use offers from the following service providers:
- Google Analytics: The provider of the “Google Analytics” service is Google LLC, USA. For the purposes of the GDPR and the FADP, Google Ireland Ltd., Ireland (both hereinafter referred to as Google) is responsible. Google uses performance cookies (see above) to track the behaviour of visitors to our website (duration, frequency of pages accessed, geographical origin of access, etc.) and on this basis compiles reports on the use of our website. We have configured the service in such a way that the IP addresses of Google visitors in Europe are truncated before being forwarded to the USA and thus cannot be traced. Google may be able to draw conclusions about the identity of visitors on the basis of the data collected, create personal profiles and link this data to the Google accounts of those individuals. You should assume this processing if you consent to the use of performance cookies. Information on Google Analytics data protection can be found here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245. If you have a Google account, you can find further information on how Google processes it here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites?hl=de.
- HubSpot: The service is provided by HubSpot Inc., USA. HubSpot helps us to analyse user behaviour on our website in order to optimise our marketing strategy (e.g. our e-mail marketing, our social media presence, our contact management and our contact forms). Cookies (see above) are used for this purpose in order to analyse your use of our website (e.g. pages visited, date and time of visits, completed contact forms, downloaded documents). For more information, please refer to the HubSpot Inc.'s privacy policy at http://www.hubspot.com/privacy-policy.
6. Automated individual decisions and profiling
We do not apply any fully automated individual decisions. However, we may automatically evaluate you for the aforementioned purposes (“profiling”) if we want to analyse and evaluate your behaviour, determine your preference data, check your creditworthiness when using our online shop and, based on this, the payment methods we provide, as well as to identify misuse and security risks or carry out statistical analyses. We may also create profiles for the same purposes, e.g. by linking behavioural and preference data, information that you provide to us in the online shop and technical data associated with you in such a way that we better understand you as a person, your interests and other characteristics overall.
7. Retention and storage
Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we store your personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose of processing, the storage is technically necessary, legal retention periods apply, or our legitimate interest requires such retention (e.g. for documentation and evidence purposes). If the personal data is not subsequently deleted automatically, we delete or anonymise your personal data as part of our usual processes.
Please note that your personal data, which you disclose to the operators of these social media platforms when you visit our social media profiles, is governed by the privacy policies of the operators of the social media platforms and the deletion periods specified therein.
8. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to adequately safeguard the necessary data security of your personal data and to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, unauthorised access by third parties or other unlawful use
9. Disclosure of data
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, we may disclose your personal data to the other companies in our Group (an overview of our Group companies can be found here: www.regazzi.ch/de/2015/11/23/chi-siamo/). They may use your personal data for the same purposes as we do (e.g. when using the contact form for applications). We may also pass on your personal data to third parties in Switzerland and abroad whose services we use (e.g. IT service providers, marketing companies, etc.). Recipients may also include contractual partners who advertise for us and to whom we transmit personal data for analysis and marketing purposes, and who also use your personal data for their own purposes. In this case, we ask for your consent in advance.
The recipients of your personal data may also be located outside Switzerland and/or the EEA in countries without adequate statutory data protection. In this case, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) to ensure that the protection of your personal data is adequately guaranteed. In addition, we will only disclose your personal data to third parties if there is a legal obligation to do so, or if this is necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
10. Your rights
In connection with the processing, you have the following rights:
- The right to information as to whether and what personal data we process about you;
- The right to have us correct inaccurate data;
- The right that we delete your personal data;
- The right to object to processing, in particular in the case of processing for direct marketing purposes, in connection with profiling;
- The right to obtain from us the disclosure of certain personal data in a commonly used electronic format or its transfer to another controller;
- The right to withdraw consent insofar as our processing is based on your consent;
